MORONGO BASIN HEALTHCARE DISTRICT DUAL FOOD DISTRIBUTION THIS SATURDAY

In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Morongo Basin Healthcare District launched the Feeding Morongo Basin Project. Reporter Cassidy Zimarik has the details on its first food distribution event this Saturday…

The Morongo Basin Healthcare District has set a date for a no-contact-drive-through food distribution event as part of their Feeding Morongo Basin Project. The project was set up by the healthcare district to improve the health and wellness of Morongo Basin residents. On Saturday, June 20, residents can simply drive up, open the trunk, and drive away. The food boxes weigh about 50-pounds and contain non-perishable food items, along with a $25 gift card for the purchase of perishable food items and toiletries. Distribution will be limited to one box per vehicle while supplies last.
