At last night’s meeting of the newly re-designated Morongo Basin Healthcare District, Jackie Coombs was named its CEO. Coombs began working for the hospital district as chief nursing officer in 2006 and is currently employed as the Hospital’s Quality Manager. Coombs will leave her present position to oversee the Healthcare District which includes both Family Health Clinics and the Foundation. The hospital, the Continuing Care Center, and Airway Outpatient Center are now operating under Tenet Healthcare. Tenet is expected to name its own CEO in the days or weeks ahead.
