You could say that the MBHD regular monthly meeting last night was short, but informative. It began with a quarterly report about human resources and fine-tuning of the performance evaluation tool. Then a financial report for March from the new controller Deborah Anderson. She reported that March was $98,000 over budget with transportation breaking even; lower wages and purchase services still provided a savings of $17,000. After that, CEO Jackie Combs reported on the Employee Service Awards, which recognized all the employees from behavioral health to maintenance.
