The Morongo Basin Healthcare District Board of directors met first at 4 pm in closed session to continue the performance evaluation of CEO Jackie Combs, with no report at the end. Then at 5:30, the Board returned for its regular meeting beginning with a presentation about the new fast and accurate Electronic Health Record system, which went online June 18. Then the Board approved the Hi-Desert Medical Center Capital Plan, Plan Extension and the Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s restated budget for 2019. The capital improvement report spoke of new paint and flooring at the Community Health Center Clinics in Yucca Valley. At the end of meeting, the Board adjourned back to closed session.
