The Morongo Basin Healthcare District will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Mobile Medical Unit Thursday, October 4, at 5 p.m. To avoid a time conflict due to a candidates’ forum in Yucca Valley at 5:30 p.m., the board of directors will hold its regular meeting tomorrow at a special time of 3 p.m. Of note will be the three presentations; the first will be about increasing access to the internet services. Then CEO Jackie Combs will talk about Mobile Medical Unit Program operations and then give a update on the Association of California Healthcare districts. The meeting and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at the MBHD office at 6530 La Contenta Road, Suite 100, in Yucca Valley.
