A Morongo Basin Sheriff’s deputy surprised a couple of girls with Christmas gifts. Deputy Bryan Dominguez was helping Lyriq, Kalis, and Kharizma during the Shop with a Cop event a couple weeks ago. The children were given $200 to pick out gifts, toys, and clothes to help make their Christmas wishes come true. But instead of using the money to buy gifts for themselves, the girls bought gifts for their mother and siblings. Dominguez, who was so impressed by their kindness and selflessness, asked them what they’d like for Christmas. Two weeks later, Dominguez went to the girls’ home and surprised them with their Christmas wish of hoverboards. A post by the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s station reads, “With all the smiles seen here, there’s no doubt it was a special Christmas Day for everyone. Merry Christmas Lyriq, Kalis, and Kharizma! Thank you for reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas.”
MORONGO BASIN DEPUTY MAKES CHRISTMAS SPECIAL FOR LOCAL GIRLS
Morongo Basin Sheriff's Deputy Bryan Dominguez made Christmas extra special for some local girls, Lyriq, Kalis, and Kharizma, by giving them hoverboards for Christmas. The girls spent all their money during Shop with a Cop buying gifts for their family members and nothing for themselves.
