At its regular meeting Saturday (June 9), the Morongo Basin Democratic Club will discuss a resolution condemning the separation of families at the US-Mexico border. Members will also plan a rally for June 16 against the Cadiz water project, and discuss the results of Tuesday’s election. The 10 a.m. meeting is preceded by an optional $10 buffet breakfast at 9 a.m. at Bruce’s Café on the Copper Mountain College campus in Joshua Tree.
