MORONGO BASIN CULTURAL ARTS COUNCIL PLANS “SPRING FLING” VIRTUAL EXHIBITION

While some galleries are still closed because of Covid-19, the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council continues to provide outlets to share art with the community. Spring Fling is a virtual exhibition for artwork and fine craft items priced at $100 or lower online. Artists can also display their work in the window at Joshua Tree Art Gallery. Hilary Sloane explains how to apply…

Spring Fling is open to any artist who is a current member of the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council. Artists can submit up to three pieces. The deadline to enter is March 24. Work will be viewable online from April 1 to April 30, and work will be on display in JTAG’s storefront window from April 3 to April 25. There is no fee to enter and no commission charged on anything sold.

Artists interested in showing their work in the window display at JTAG can schedule an appointment on March 30, 31, and April 1. This window display will rotate weekly. All work will be for sale online.
