Morongo Basin Conservation Association offering three $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors

Graduating high school seniors can get $1000 toward their college education from the Morongo Basin Conservation Association.

Three $1000 scholarships are being offered to local high school graduates who are interested in pursuing environmental conservation. This pursuit can be through virtually any type of study, from science and technology to arts and mathematics, and applicants will write an essay explaining this connection.

One scholarship is funded by memberships and donations to the MBCAs non-profit organization and two are specifically funded by anonymous donors especially interested in supporting women in STEAM majors and students who plan to merge environmental protection and the arts in their future.

Student applicants must be Morongo Basin residents and 2025 high school graduates. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.50. The application must be completed and submitted by 11:59 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

You can apply at the MBCAs website www.mbconservation.org
