Morongo Basin Ambulance has a long history of helping those in need, and in this season of giving, Morongo Basin Ambulance will be helping youngsters in need. Staff will be in front of Yucca Valley Wal-Mart from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. every Sunday from December 2 through December 16. The crews will be accepting new, unwrapped toys to be distributed to local children. Their goal is to fill an ambulance with toys each Sunday. Toy donations may also be dropped off at ambulance headquarters at 6335 Park Blvd. in Joshua Tree Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
