There will be an increase in noise associated with military training in the surrounding area due to Marines and Sailors participating in the Assault Support Training Three (AST-3) exercise aboard MCAGCC Twentynine Palms on April 15.
This exercise is being conducted as a part of the Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) 2-22 course and is vital for the training of pilots, aircrew and ground forces who will be called on to execute Non-Combatant Evacuations in time of crisis.
