A Yucca Valley man was arrested Saturday (June 12) after rolling his car over in front of a Sheriff Deputy. According to Sheriff logs, just after 8 p.m., a man identified as Jesse Esparza, 36, was driving his car Northbound on Avalon Avenue in Yucca Valley near Lennox Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle causing the vehicle to skid into on-coming traffic, all in front of the deputy. The vehicle rolled over two times and landed on its wheels in the front yard of a nearby residence. No other vehicle or property was damaged during the collision. After a brief investigation, the deputy determined that Esparza was driving under the influence of alcohol. Jesse Esparza was arrested and charged with DUI and taken to the West Valley Detention Center where he was cited and released on June 16, four days after the crash.
