In San Bernardino County, 72 people have died from COVID-19—including two in Twentynine Palms—and 1,578 have tested positive for the disease since March 15, according to the latest data from the county Wednesday (April 22). The Morongo Basin was unchanged with 34 confirmed cases. On Wednesday, the county rolled out an expanded dashboard tracking data. The new dashboard, which can be seen at sbcovid19.com, includes more information on the age, race, and ethnicity of patients, as well as those who have died. It also shows where testing has occurred, outbreaks, and hospital bed capacity.
