Just a day after solar panels were reported stolen at Morongo Valley Elementary School, Morongo Unified School District officials reported that solar panels had also been stolen from the old Joshua Tree Elementary School in the 6000 block of Sunburst Avenue. According to the Sheriff’s report, the deputy was following up on the Morongo Valley Elementary School theft when the district reported that sometime during the last three weeks, one to two pallets of solar panels had been stolen from the former school where they were being stored.
