A Montana woman was arrested Sunday (February 28), accused of selling drugs and giving a false ID to a deputy. About 1:45 a.m., a deputy stopped a 1999 Ford on Highway 62 near Shaftner Avenue in Yucca Valley for a traffic violation. When contacted, the driver gave a false name to the deputy. During a search of the Ford, the deputy found a white crystallized substance believed to be methamphetamine inside a purse. The woman was taken to the Morongo Basin Jail where she was identified by her fingerprints as Lyann Renee Miller, 28, of Superior, Montana. Miller had outstanding warrants for her arrest out of Idaho and Montana. Lyann Renee Miller was arrested on suspicion of unlawful sales of methamphetamine and giving a false ID to a police officer, and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
