Copper Mountain College will host the Mojave Water Agency’s Board meeting and honor the agency’s allegiance to the college tomorrow, October 27. In a little more than a decade, the Mojave Water Agency has appropriated almost $150,000 for student scholarships, xeriscape landscaping, and water conservation efforts. The meeting will be held at 4:30 in the college’s board room in the Greenleaf Library. Following the meeting, at approximately 5:15 p.m., CMC will host a reception to present a recent board of trustee’s resolution which honors the Mojave Water Agency and its dedication to the school. Tours of CMC’s landscaping are among the afternoon’s activities.
