MOJAVE WATER AGENCY FUNDS LOCAL PROJECTS

Giving disadvantaged communities a helping hand is the goal of the award-winning Mojave Water Agency Strategic Partners Program. The Mojave Water Agency has funded several projects this year in the Morongo Basin, including $10,000 to Copper Mountain College to help fund its educational walking trail; $5000 to Hi-Desert Water District for a Water Your Rewards Program; $16,000 to the Joshua Basin Water District for a water saver workshop, Water School 101, and for tours; $4,000 to the Mojave Desert Land Trust for nursery management; and $3,000 to the Morongo Basin Conservation Association for the Desert Wise Living Series.
