MOJAVE DESERT LAND TRUST RELEASES 2020 ANNUAL REPORT

The Mojave Desert Land Trust’s 2020 report includes the acquisition of more than 7,500 acres of land in areas of wilderness, national parks, Morongo Basin wildlife linkages, habitat mitigation and conservation easements, and national monuments. Staff also removed more than 10 tons of trash from MDLT lands and restored nearly 10,000 linear feet of disturbed areas. Free online educational programs for children and families at home were also introduced. Executive Director Geary Hund stated the organization is always looking forward to more land acquisitions and preservation campaigns in the future.
