The Mojave Desert Land Trust will hold an open house for the public to learn about the Land Trust’s projects. The Mojave Desert Land Trust will host its Spring Open House at Amboy Crater, an extinct cinder cone in the Mojave Trails National Monument. The event will be “Backyard BBQ” themed and feature related crafts and guided hikes along the rim of the crater. The Land Trust will be joined by the Girl Scouts of the San Gorgonio Council, who will unveil the Mojave Monuments Patch. With a winter Sand to Snow excursion already under their belts, the Girl Scouts will earn their second of three bars towards the patch after spending a fabulous day in Mojave Trails. The open house is set for Saturday, April 8, at 10 a.m.
