Mojave Desert Land Trust’s nursery manager Madena Asbell will give a lecture “Plant Conservation: What it is, how it’s done, and why it matters” January 10 at 5:30 p.m. How exactly do we conserve plants? Which species are important? And why? In this talk, Madena Asbell will answer these questions, and discuss what you can do to conserve native plants in your own backyard and beyond. Hi-Desert Nature Museum is closed for renovation this month; the January lecture will be in the Senior Center within the Community Center Complex.
