Join the Mojave Desert Land Trust this Saturday, January 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a day of clean-up and restoration on the newly acquired Long Canyon Peak Property (formerly known as the Joshua Tree Foothills). Volunteers will be cleaning up dump sites and utilizing vertical and horizontal mulch techniques to camouflage and restore damage from irresponsible off-road vehicle use. Please bring a brown bag lunch, gloves, sunglasses (eye protection), long sleeved shirt, long pants, sunscreen, wide brim hat, and sturdy boots. Snacks and water will be provided. Volunteers will meet at the corner of Golden Bee and Acoma Trail in Yucca Valley.
