Celebrate a “Decade of Connectivity and Conservation” with the Mojave Desert Land Trust at the second annual Fall Gratitude Gathering open house event at its Joshua Tree headquarters on Saturday, November 12th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will highlight the Land Trust’s native plant restoration nursery and seed bank, and the role of native plants in protecting and connecting desert ecosystems. This outdoor event is free and open to the public, and will include guest speakers, nursery tours, and native plant sale, live square-dancing entertainment, a Salvage Saturday donation sale and a $10 chili and cornbread lunch. The Mojave Desert Land Trust headquarters is on the highway in Joshua Tree across from Joshua Tree Memorial Park.
