Over the past 15 years, the Mojave Deseret Land Trust has acquired thousands of acres of California desert land from willing sellers, playing a vital role in preserving public land and resources for future generations. On Monday (July 5), MDLT announced that they reached a new milestone of conserving 100,000 acres of California desert since 2006. Aling with acquiring the land, MDLT restores properties to preserve habitat for native plants and animals, and to promote ecosystem resilience to climate change.
