The Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s Mobile Medical Unit will be at the following locations in September:
Wednesday, Sept. 11, A new location: The Johnson Valley Community Center 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
Thursday, Sept. 12, , Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
And Wednesday, Sept. 25, Wonder Valley Community Center, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A nurse practitioner will be on board, providing primary medical care and screenings. Some immunizations are available. Most insurances are accepted. Care is provided regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. To schedule an appointment, call 760-365-9305. Walk-ins will be accepted as time permits.
