The Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s Mobile Medical Unit will be at the following locations in June:
Friday, June 7, Belfield Hall in Landers, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
Thursday, June 13, Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
Tuesday, June 18, Reach Out Morongo Basin/Twentynine Palms Senior Center, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
Monday, June 24, Sportsman Lodge, Joshua Tree, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A nurse practitioner will be on board, providing primary medical care and screenings, and if necessary, prescribing lab tests and refilling prescriptions. Most insurances are accepted. Care is provided regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Appointments are encouraged.
