The Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s Mobile Medical Unit will be traveling throughout the Morongo Basin offering COVID-19 vaccinations. The first vaccination clinic will be tomorrow (Saturday), May 15, in the Walmart parking lot in Yucca Valley from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Staff will dispense the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the Moderna vaccine will also be available. Those with insurance should bring their insurance cards but no one will be turned away if they do not have insurance. Registration is encouraged by calling 760-820-2614.
