The Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s Mobile Medical Unit could be in your neighborhood in December. It will be at the Center for Healthy Generations in Yucca Valley on Thursday, December 5, from 10 to 1; at the Wonder Valley Community Center Wednesday, December 11, from 9 to 1; and at Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms Saturday, December 21, from 11 to 2. A nurse practitioner will be on board, providing primary medical care and screenings, and if necessary, prescribing lab tests and refilling prescriptions. Most insurances are accepted.
