- The Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s Mobile Medical Unit will be at the following locations in October:
- Thursday, October 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the 29 Palms Senior Center;
- Wednesday, October 23, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Wonder Valley Community Center;
- and Saturday, October 26, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms.
A nurse practitioner will be on board, providing primary medical care and screenings. Some immunizations are available. Most insurances are accepted. Care is provided regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. No appointment is needed. For more information, call 760-365-9305.
