The Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s Mobile Medical Unit will be at Copper Mountain College at the 100 quad parking lot, Tuesday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at Belfield Hall in Landers, Thursday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A nurse practitioner will be on board, providing primary medical care and screenings. Medi-Cal, IEHP and most insurances will be accepted. A discounted fee-for-service will be also available for those without insurance. Care will be provided regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Appointments are encouraged. To schedule an appointment, call 760-365-9305. Walk-ins will also be accepted as time permits.
