MOBILE HOME FIRE IN TWENTYNINE PALMS SUNDAY NIGHT

The cause of a mobile home fire in Twentynine Palms on Sunday night is under investigation. According to County fire Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle, San Bernardino County Fire units were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 4500 block of Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms at around 9:15 p.m. Sunday night. The first engine on scene reported a mobile home fully involved in flames, threatening mobile homes on both sides. Firefighters mounted an aggressive attack, keeping the fire contained to only the unit involved. The fire was knocked down in approximately 10 minutes with no damage to the neighboring homes. Both engines from the 29 palms station were assisted by engines from Joshua Tree and Combat Center Fire. No injuries were reported.
