A missing elderly Yucca Valley woman has been found deceased. According to a Sheriff’s report, an off-road rider found an older model Volvo car stuck on a rock in a wash near Palomar Avenue and Juarez Drive in Yucca Valley about 5 p.m. Monday. It appears the car’s driver, later identified as Jeanette Moss, 95, suffered a stroke or other medical episode and no foul play is suspected. Moss was last seen at about 9 am. Sunday morning when left her home in Yucca Valley to go to Walgreens. When she didn’t return, her family contacted the Sheriff’s Department. An intensive search had been launched.
