On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 1130 hours, Detective Shaunna Ables located Judith Kee while searching the area one mile
south of Machris Park in the Town of Yucca Valley. Kee appeared to have fallen and was found in a small wash area surrounded
by desert brush, which hid her from public view. Kee was injured from her fall and dehydrated from being out in the elements.
Kee was transported to Hi-Desert Medical Center to be treated for her injuries.
Sheriff’s deputies are searching from the land and the sky for a missing 69-year Newport Beach woman in the Yucca Valley area. According to the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s station, Tuesday (March 22) afternoon a family member reported Judith Kee missing out of Newport Beach. Deputies responded after reporting parties located a vehicle and property belonging to Kee near Machris Park in Yucca Valley. Responding deputies immediately began an investigation into Kee’s whereabouts with a tracking K-9 and a helicopter but were unsuccessful in locating her. The public’s assistance is being requested in locating Kee, she is a Caucasian female adult, 5’5’’ tall, and weighs approximately 155 pounds.
