A Twentynine Palms woman who was reported as a critical missing person yesterday by the Sheriff’s Department called Wednesday evening to say she wasn’t missing. Mona McIntyre, 48, was believed to have left her residence in the 7700 block of North Star Avenue Saturday afternoon, and was reported missing Tuesday morning. The Sheriff’s Department sent out a critical missing person report Wednesday morning that was broadcast over Z107.7. McIntyre said she had been staying with a friend and was surprised to hear she had been considered missing.
