MILITARY-THEME ART SHOW OPEN TO ALL ARTISTS

The next art show at the 29 Palms Visitor’s Center and Gallery is a collaboration with the non-profit organization Mil-Tree. Artwork created by veterans and civilians during a recent workshop will be featured in the show, but Managing Editor Tami Roleff says other artists may also submit art to be included in the show…

“Listening to the Desert: Military Musings” is the theme for the Art in Public Places exhibition at Twentynine Palms Visitor Center and Gallery. Desert artists are invited to submit an original piece of art in any media that reflects the theme for possible inclusion in the group exhibition. Works created in a Mil-Tree painting workshop will also be included in the show. Artwork will be accepted at the visitor center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, January 4. An opening reception is planned for Saturday, January 5, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. as part of Art Cruise 29! First Saturday and will feature live music and refreshments.
