A military Humvee towing a trailer on Highway 62 in Morongo Valley lost a tire and rolled over Thursday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, the Humvee was traveling southbound on the highway near Hess Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and slammed onto the right shoulder. The trailer overturned and at least one wheel came off. The overturned Humvee blocked the slow lane and the CHP shut down westbound lanes until a tow truck arrived. The CHP and the Marine Corps are investigating the crash.
