Both military and general-aviation pilots face the safety issue of mid-air collisions every time they take to the air. The Twentynine Palms Combat center and Copper Mountain College will host a mid-air collision-avoidance class to help pilots better understand these dangers. The class is free to attend will be taught by an FAA Safety Team-Certified instructor. The class will take place tomorrow, May 12 at Copper Mountain college, 6162 Rotary Way in Joshua Tree, in room 104 from 10 to noon. Attendees will receive WINGS credit.
