There will be a Memorial Day ceremony at the Twentynine Palms Cemetery Monday, May 27 at 9 a.m. The guest speaker will be Colonel Kevin Collins, the commanding officer of the Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group from the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base. Representatives from 21 groups and organizations will present wreaths in honor of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. A reception will follow the ceremony at the Twentynine Palms Elks Lodge on the highway at Elk Trail. The Cemetery is located at 5350 Encelia Avenue in Twentynine Palms.
