Your input about homeless services in the Morongo Basin is needed. If you or your organization provide or seek homeless services, make plans to be present Monday morning as Morongo Basin Haven discusses forming the East Valley Regional Homeless Provider Network (HPN). This is a collaboration with the county’s Office of Homeless Services and Integrated Council on Homelessness. The HPN will include representatives from the city and county, local service providers, non-profits, and the faith-based community. The focus will be to identify the needs of the Morongo Basin and work to obtain funding for the projects. The meeting is set for 9 to 11 a.m. at the Joshua Tree Sportsman’s Club on Sunburst Street in Joshua Tree. For more information, call Wayne Hamilton at 760-401-0375.
