Tammy Romatko, a photographer and painter, and longtime resident of the Hi-Desert, will present an artist’s talk on her artwork 3 p.m. Saturday, February 17, at the Joshua Tree Library. Romatko’s photography has been shown in many juried competitions, while her paintings were most recently on display at Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree. Romatko’s work draws inspiration from the desert landscape, her love of animals, and her abstract paintings combine representational elements with collage.
