Today we visit with Rosie Paulino, a junior at Yucca Valley and candidate for Miss Yucca Valley. Hi Rosie. Tell us, who is the prominent woman you interviewed and what you have learned?
“Hi, my name is Rosie Paulino. My prominent lady is Jennifer Youngworth. She’s the Language Arts teacher at Yucca Valley High School. What I’ve learned from her is to take chances, chase my dreams, and don’t let anyone have the power to influence my decisions.”
What have you learned from your experience with Miss Yucca Valley?
“What I have learned from my experience with Miss Yucca Valley is to have self-confidence in myself. This pageant has helped me discover who I am and who I want to become.”
Any final words?
“I just want to thank Sheldon and Tara Hough for letting us have the opportunity to be involved in this pageant.”
