Seeds are the cornerstone of the plant world, and their importance to the planet earth can’t be overstated. That’s the message the Mojave Desert Land Trust hopes to convey with a special lecture night. Led by Seed Program Manager Patrick Emblidge, attendees will learn about the foundational need for seeds and the importance of seed banks for the long-term health of the planet.
The talk will feature a question and answer segment and conclude with a tour of the MDLT’s Mojave Desert Seed Bank. It begins tonight (September 13) at 6 p.m. at the MDLT headquarters in Joshua Tree.
