The Mojave Desert Land Trust is holding a mixer to hear updates about the proposed Chuckwalla National Monument tonight (6/10) from 5 to 7PM at their headquarters in Joshua Tree.
The MDLT says that supporters can hear the latest news and updates from conservation partners – including how to get involved in a special public meeting hosted by the Department of Interior this Friday – June 14 at the Indio fairgrounds. The Land Trust says that Friday’s public hearing represents one of the most important steps of the national monument designation process.
The info session is tonight from 5 to 7 at the Mojave Desert Land Trust – located just west of Joshua Tree right off Highway 62.
RSVPs are appreciated: Call the MDLT 760.366.5540 or email their to confirm your participation in the event on Monday.
