MDLT forum to explore impacts of tourism in the Morongo Basin

If you’re interested in the impact of tourism in the Morongo Basin, the Mojave Desert Land Trust is holding a forum on visitation this Wednesday (September 27).

The forum, which is sponsored by the MDLT, the National Parks Conservation Association, and 90 Miles from Needles, will consider the impact of visitation on Joshua National Park and its surrounding communities, with a focus on charting a path forward.

The session will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., though reservations are required to attend.
