The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms will soon be under the command of Brigadier General Thomas B. Savage.
Brigadier General Savage will be the Commanding General of the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, as of July 5.
The base’s current commanding officer, Major General Austin “Sparky” Renforth, will relinquish command to Brigadier General Savage at a ceremony on Wednesday, July 5th at L Cpl Torrey Gray Field in Twentynine Palms.
