MBYSA ENDS A SUCCESSFUL FIRST WEEK OF REGISTRATIONS

The Morongo Basin Youth Soccer Association held their first in-person registration on Saturday (February 26) at John’s Place in Yucca Valley. By the end of the day, MBYSA registered nearly 70 players to the Spring season, adding to the 110 players registered online.

“We are more than half way to our goal of 300 players this season, and we’ve managed that in just the first week,” said Board President Adan Mendoza. “I think I speak for the entire Board of Directors when I say we’re excited to see such enthusiasm from our community.”

This season marks the first of online registrations for MBYSA, allowing for parents to register their players easily on computer or even mobile devices. Parents and guardians should expect to pay $65 for new players and $60 for returning. A small transaction fee will be added to online registrations. Any registrations received after the 10th will result in a higher late registration fee per player.

The next in-person registration will take place this Saturday (March 5) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brehm Sports Park meeting room, located at 56620 Little League Drive in Yucca Valley, right across from the Boys and Girls Club. Registration will be open until March 10, with teams being sorted by the March 12, and practices starting the week of March 14.
