MBTA GIVES $18,000 TO REACH OUT FOR TRANSPORTATION

The Morongo Basin Transit Authority donated $18,000 to Reach-Out Morongo Basin last week. Reach Out’s Executive Director Robin Schlosser said the donation will be used for the charity’s transportation program to provide rides for low-income, senior, and disabled neighbors in the Morongo Basin to health care providers and services in the High and Low Deserts. Reach-Out Morongo Basin’s transportation program provides low income, senior and disabled residents of Wonder Valley, Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Landers, Pioneertown and Morongo Valley with no cost rides to doctors appointments locally and in the San Bernardino and Coachella Valley areas.
