MBTA GETS THE HIGHEST SAFETY RATING FROM THE CHP

For the 10th time, the Morongo Basin Transit Authority received the highest safety rating for public transit agencies from the California Highway Patrol. The CHP inspected the agency’s buses, maintenance, operator, drug, and alcohol records. MBTA General Manager Mark Goodale said that receiving the CHP’s highest rating “gives the public a sense of confidence” that the local bus service is complying with mandated regulations.
