The Morongo Basin Transit Authority will conduct its annual Can-A-Ride food drive Thursday, November 19. Donating a can of food or other non-perishable food item will allow you a free ride on MBTA routes (excluding Palm Springs Routes). The food will be donated to the local Food Pantry for distribution to the local agencies of the Morongo Basin.
If you don’t ride the bus but wish to contribute to the food drive, drop off your food donations at the MBTA office in Joshua Tree through November 19, from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m.
