MBTA passengers may ride for free if they donate a can of food or any other non-perishable food item when boarding one of the local routes on Thursday, November 21. The Morongo Basin Transit Authority will also be collecting donations at the Joshua Tree offices. Proceeds from “Can A Ride” will be donated to the local Food Pantry for distribution to the local agencies of the Morongo Basin. The Palm Springs Routes are excluded from this event.
