The Morongo Basin Transit Authority will start its regular meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 28, with a closed session during which it will discuss buying eight properties. During the open session at 5 p.m., the board of directors will recognize the employee of the quarter. After staff reports, the board will elect a new chair and vice chair, be asked to approve a bid for a bus stop improvement, and approve replacing a field supervisor’s vehicle. The meeting will be held via Zoom.
